ATC Spindle - anybody using this one?

Post by dbrook »

I am interested replacing my Hitachi router with a spindle and would love to have a tool change spindle. Before I seriously consider dropping that much cash I wanted to check to see if anybody on the forum has had any experience with this ATC spindle. It can be found on the Automationtechnologies.com spindle page. http://www.automationtechnologiesinc.co ... kl-2200atc

Any input on the spindle and the company would be most appreciated.

See attached picture.

Automation Technologies is a reputable company. However, all they really do is import chinese goods and resell them. If you need support for anything you buy from them, don't expect a lot.

I've only seen one or two people using chinese ATC spindles, and I doubt that they were that exact model. There are a lot of different manufacturers of those spindles.

Just interested if you went ahead with this spindle?

I have just purchased one and am now collecting peripherals before starting to hook it up. I was hoping there was someone to clarify a few things along the way.
