Hello, Newbie here...
I've been using Cut2D with Mach3
So far I've been cutting through 29Gauge Galvalume roofing material for use in a brake at a metal shop. Among other aspects of using our CNC I've been learning the importance of a definable Zero point before starting a big job.
I'm now starting to look at 3D design using wood and plastic. I've downloaded the Cut3D trial and wanting to complete the "Bowl" project Vectric has made available to experience their software. My question has to do with flipping the material over to complete the bottom of the bowl. Could someone point me to a detailed esplanation of what the steps are for completing the task? I'm trying to imagine how one might go about it but would greatly appreciate someone pointing me in the right direction. I imagine Vectric would explain exactly how to do such a routine task but I don't know where to find it.
I'm guessing I'd need a hole going through my material I could use as a zero point and that hole would be used regardless of which side of the "Bowl" is was working on?
