Anchor and chain

Post by jarm2 »

Just a fun little project I did. I used the information and jigs presented in an earlier post and carved the anchor two sided from fir. The links are carved from cherry. Anchor is about 10 inches tall. Finished with two coats of danish oil.

Thanks, I appreciate the feedback. I keep trying new things and have gotten a lot of ideas from posts on this forum. What a great resource this is. Wish I could make it to some of the annual meetings to meet some of you.

Looks awesome! Could you point me in a direction where I could find that anchor?

I have the anchor image from a subscription to Vectorclip 3D images. Norbert has a large library of images available and his subscription service seems like a very reasonable way to get .stl images. This is his anchor 3 image.
