Here is my Kronos Robotics KRMx02. It is a 27x50 with a 800 watt air-cooled spindle and a 1.5kw VFD.

Here is my Probotix Meteor. 25 x 50, 2 1/4 HP Porter Cable spindle. Kent dust shoe picks up all the dust. Harbor Freight dust collector works great, but thinking of doing a mod like posted on here. It does what I want it too, that's what is important.

Here is an improved version of my second machine. In the Youtube link I explain the mechanics and electronics of the unit. The original machine was mainly made of mdf and the second was a steel version. This has been upgraded with a better linear bearing system and more substantial leadscrew and nut on all axes. Also the control system has been rationalised into an industry standard enclosure.

BTW is there a tutorial on how to use/implement this forum? i.e. how to correctly use all of the facilities along the top of this edit box.

Been doing all kinds of upgrades to my machine over the last few months...

This is the latest...

Yesterday, I installed a new cable management system for the X axis.. Was tired of broken vacuum hoses... Finally broke down and bought a cable chain, and built a mounting system and supports for it all.. Got a couple more things to do (redo the little block where the chain attaches to the gantry so it can't work loose over time, and install side barriers for the cable chain as it wants to walk a little) and then the problems associated with how I had it before should be resolved once and for all... General wiring looks better now too.. :D

Recently purchased V-Carve Pro 8, and I'm pleased and amazed at how easy and intuitive it is...I've used other CAD/CAM packages and none are as easy to learn...I'm looking forward to doing some new stuff.

I tried (unsucessfully) to attach pics of my home built CNC router...I'm not sure what I'm doing wrong as I've changed the resolution down to a pretty small size and for some reason they aren't downloading...maybe someone can give me a hint.

Thanks for the great forum and information so far.

Nice looking machine tatinc200. I like that monitor mount a lot. Mind pointing me in a direction to get my hands on one? That looks sharp and a great space saver.

Which motor? The nema motor mounts are cncrouterparts clones and the router motor mount is also a clone but I don't remember where from. The plate it is mounted to is a cncrouterparts z plate clone.
