Hello Peter. Would it be possible for you to explain how you made your vacuum hold down table. I would love to make one about this size. Sources of the high pressure laminate and what your other items you used to make it. Any help would be appreciated.pben wrote:Here's a clip from my workshop:
I'm routing the outlines and soundhole of a concert guitar soundboard. The workpiece is held with vacuum and the white vacuum board is made out of high pressure laminate (similar to Formica, only 1/2" thick). It works like a dream...
Regards
Peter
Thank you
Richard

My first Wooden Clock (sorry for the poor video).
One of Brian Law's wooden clocks (clock 22). Having proved I can do it, I'll now strip it down and make a few personalised changes...
Great challenge if you're looking for something a little more complex.

This is a project I did for the San Antonio Spurs at the AT&T Center Using V-Carve. My machine is only 8 ft. long but the panels are 11ft high, so I had to do some careful indexing.
It's interactive so when someone touches a panel, colors shoot out from that location.

Mash Paddle for a buddy starting a small brew shop. Still learning the ropes, but getting better with each piece.
and a sign for another buddy who has a Christmas Tree farm.
Forgive the music, need to learn more about editing videos, and I need to learn how to use time-lapse.....
