This is not the most artistic thing I have done with Aspire, and most of it just drop and carve using the models that came with Aspire... but my only grandson, 7 year old Dylan started reading chapter books and wanted grand pa to carve him a book case to keep some of them in. So this was a quick fun Saturday afternoon design and carve.
Page 177 reads of Chapter 9 reads of the Legend of Dylan:
" So the Mighty Dylan
grabbed his silver sword
and four chocolate
chip cookies from the
Smelly Ogres Pocket.
Page 178
"Than Dylan tied the
Ogres boots together,
ran outside, and
jumped on his pet
Dragon, Diesel. "
got major grandpa points from the grandma and the grandson ... and the daughter who is still crying..

Great Job !
Your grandson will cherish it forever I am sure. I think it is one of the nicest bookshelves I have ever seen.

Re: book case
Great book case. Rely like the way you used the book for the back of the case.
Thank You

Re: book case
Awesome! I'm looking to do something for my grandson 3 years and granddaughter 2 years and am currently looking at doing a toy chest. I'm just waiting for them to get a little older. One to do something that will be remembered as me doing it and two to match their character. The grandson is leaning towards trains and the granddaughter is follows big brother in everything he does and really hasn't shown a predominant interest. So she will be a little harder to make for.
Anyway, sorry for rambling. I Just wanted you to know that your bookshelf looks great and is very inspiring. Thanks for posting it.

That is awesome! The choices are great and execution superb. I feel many will aspire to do something similar in the future. I know I will (mine granddaughter is only 8 months).
