Lithophane Backlighting...
Attached is a mermaid back lit with a LED box that cost $10 plus $5 for the wooden frame. The corian was cut with a 45 degree V-bit in one pass with PhotoVCarve (of course).

Do the photo frames have any reference to a Chinese maker, that is probably where they are manufactured.
Yes they are made in China.
They are too expensive for me to buy them from here because of the freight and is the power supply 110V or 110V to 240V.
PRL: 100V to 240V ~ 50/60Hz 0.11A
SEC: 5V--0-1.0 (SET AT 1.0A)
Hope this helps,

I take it there is nothing on the frame that would suggest who the maker is?
I have got a lead in China but I am not sure if the frames will be the same as the ones that you have. I have managed to get hold of some fairly detailed photo's but still can't see any markings to give me a hint who the manufacturer would be.
Thanks for the info on the power pack, 5 Volt at 1 Amp would be easy to have made or source locally.

I believe they may have been made for the seller...or not
No worries, I thought that may have been the case I have had a response from China so we will see what happens. Thanks for your trouble, I do appeciate it

Lithophane lighting
I have started to do some lithophanes lately. I am going to do a larger one (probably 10" X 12"). Has anyone found these frames in a larger size?
4 X 6 is going to be to small for a picture of two little girls.
Thanks,
John
