Carved frame

Post by scottart »

I have been painting my store bought frames in order to add some depth and value to some of my canvas prints... I few years back I started carving in some elements on those frames. This is my first pass at Aspire CNC solution... Carved frames to match the Art Print. This is just out of the CNC machine so not sanded, finish carved, or painted yet

I must have misunderstood you?
This does not look like any store bought frame base I have ever seen.

That was one of a rambling thought stream. The frame shown is all CNC. Prior to this one I often hand carved existing store bought frames to match some element of tge painting

I like the thinking outside/inside the frame outline Scott...Especially done by the same artist.

I am still in awe at the way the print continues outside the frame.
Are those your own paintings?
