Hi All,
Its been a couple of weeks since I posted a CNC project video, as I've been busy luthiering, err doing luthiery, errr making a guitar.
To help with that in the future I made a Nut Height Gauge block which holds a DTI so you can measure string height at the first fret and then file the slots for the strings to the correct depth:

Fancy meeting you here
I was thinking of your demo video where you said you needed to do a new nut due to the slots being too low and figured it might help, if you haven't cut a new one already.

Haven't yet, no - i've cheated and thrown paper under the low E for now - which makes it sound so bad open ... maybe I'll do a new one this weekend.
