24" trout piece.

this is a 24' trout piece i just finished. It is carved from 2.5" thick spruce. I have been working to use the full depth of the wood, and this is the first time I think the carving capture the full roundness of the subject.

That is really nice! Did you use Interference Paints on it? I love the realistic iridescent/opalescent appearance.

Standard acrylics.. I need to try some of those interference paints. i hear great things.
