Marble run

Post by Robert58 »

I have Aspire for my cnc cutting, but I did some cutting strategies by just using the fluting setup instead of using 3-D profiling. So I don't know if this would be more applicable here or the Aspire gallery. Only one part was cut 3-D everything else was 2-D
I needed to cut some 90 degree u-turns that would have taken some time. So I just set up the fluting to go in a linear line from .25" to .50" deep and also added it to the outer edges of the part, so everything was cut the same. I also did some fluting patterns to some of the straight sections that were cut as small curved fluted sections closely spaced . Here is a video of the project.

Very nicely. My grandkids (6 and 4 years old) love contraptions like this. Me too.
