Touch plate on the Piranha
Where does the touch plate connect to the Piranha ? It looks like it could be the controller or the display. Thanks for any help.

The touch plate does not work plugged into the controller, it needs to plug into the small display. The system does not see the touch plate plugged into the controller but works just fine when plugged into the small display unit.

well then that means the plug in the controller will be for the digital probe.

Depends where you want the z zero to be. If you have z zero set to Material Surface then a touch plate is placed on top of the material. If it's set to Table Surface then it's placed on top of the spoilboard.
