Linux CNC / EMC2 Processors

Post by Askjerry »

I have a Wells Index CNC (looks like a large Bridgeport) that I am running with Linux CNC. I made two processors, one for X/Y/Z and the other for X/Y/Z/A that has the A wrapped around the X-axis. So far it has tested quite well... and I can run both wrapped and unwrapped G-Code at the same time.

In other words... I can do a 3D job, and I can also do simple cuts, pockets, etc... I can paste G-Gode together and get quite a lot done.

Since I went through the trouble to configure it properly to send all the G and M codes to start the spindle, set the coolant, etc... I figured I would make them available to anyone who wants them.

The 3-Axis, X/Y/Z version: http://rutherford-robotics.com/DLOAD/G- ... Z)%20V1.pp

The 4-Axis X/Y/Z/A version: http://rutherford-robotics.com/DLOAD/G- ... A)%20V1.pp

Here is a demo of it doing a complex job: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=g-5OSW5 ... BD3BD2E76C

I hope you find it helpful.
