Just finished this ........
This is the prototype for a series of "owl" house markers that I want to try selling on-line. They're small enough that I can have some painted ahead ( room to store) & also have a fast turnaround when someone needs a gift in a hurry. This is a long-eared owl. The photographer behind the reference shots is a man named Harold Feiertag from Delta BC.
Corafoam 15, Dan Sawatzky's woodgrain texture done with a .125" ballnose, a 120* V-bit, & Porter AcriShield paints. Just under 4 leaves of W&B 23k gold to finish it off. I have about 2.5 hours in painting theowl, but I'm sure I can knock that down to 1.5 with a little practice.
