carving onto a curved surface

I am new to cncrouter world. I am tring to put text onto a curved surface and I notsure how to do it. Is there someone that turn on the light in my head on how to do this
I would appreciate any help.

Try "project toolpath on 3d model" option found towards the bottom of vcarve toolpaths window - Of course, that assumes you have a 3d model of your curved surface.
