White translucently thermoplast 2.5 mm
engraving bit 0.3mm - depth 0.75mm/path

distance between lines: 0.132 mm
graving-depth: 1.5mm

Love them.
How did you get the colours in the bottom picture?
Cheers
Wolffie

Edit:
Are you sure you used a 0.3 mm bit?
PVC just will not allow me to use that size bit with the other settings :x

Hi Wolffie

Detailed settings: the distance between lines is approximate... somewhere near the value I wrote in the previous post.

How to get colors?
Transparent printable foil with printed picture (fotoquality) and fix it on backside of the Litho :D

good luck, have fun

Thanks Walter
Please tell me what parameter I have set wrongly.
For some strange reason the program will not accept 90 degrees but 89 is fine. Strange.

You are inputting 89 degrees as the Side Angle so PVC thinks you are using a bit with a 178 degree Included Angle, or almost flat. Therefore the maximum allowable pass depth is going to be very small.

It won't accept 90 degrees as the Side Angle because that would result in a flat bottom bit (end mill).

See your other post for more details.

Hello Wolffie

I recommend engrave tools with maximum 60 degrees (half = 30 degrees -> check the small tool-graphic in the editing-tool-box within your tool-database). Engraving-tools, greater than 60 degrees, I had less quality. Recommendation somewhere between 36 and 60 degrees (half = 18 and 30 degrees).

For more details, send me a private message.

best regards
Walter

Another question if you don't mind.

How do you get the printed foil the same size as the litho?
Do you print it first and then set the size of the litho or is there another trick?
