VCarve Pro 7

Post by rmooreh »

Hi Guys,

I just purchased a new ShopBot that will ship the middle of March and was wondering if it will come with the new upgraded version of VCarve Pro, if not will I be able to upgrade it for free to the current version.

Thanks.

ShopBots come with PartWorks and ParkWorks 3D which is a custom version of VCarve and Cut3D. I think you'd need to contact ShopBot regarding the upgrade policy and which version it's likely to ship with.

Hi,

If V7 isn't released by then, you will still be entitled to a free upgrade to the ShopBot equivalent of VCarve Pro.

I don't know if I missed any updates, but what are we looking at in Vcarve 7? What's new? Any peeks at it available? Thanks :D

Have a look at the What's New for Aspire 4 and ignore the modelling stuff.

Hopefully VCarve 7 will include the new editing features that Aspire now has.
1. Dimensioning. (real, not the tape measure now included)
2. Vector extension.
3. Snap to vector intersections.
4. Align to the outside of another object.

These are a few of my favorite things!
