Doubling model depth

Post by Chuck G »

James

I have used a dished model on a plaque and have somehow doubled the depth in Aspire.

I had not realized this until I went to use it again and it was cutting half as deep.
I would like to put the deeper version in the new project but I do not know how it was done the first time.

Thanks

Chuck

Hi Chuck, Obviously I am not James...

But to increase the depth in Aspire simply go into the component manager and use the "set exact height" button on the component you want deeper.

More than likely the first time you probably copied the component into your working model and had the component still turned on which would double the "Z" depth.

Hope this helps,
Tim
