Here's number 3. I wanted to try vectorizing .gif files in InkScape to be VCarved. Seemed to work out fine. This is NOT a true story  . Im a happily married man. :)

Well, I figured that I should probably put something out here or James would yell at me so here is my entry.

Its not finish how I would like, But I have been flat out on a big project with a crazy deadline! One Vcarve file is lettering reversed carved in 3mm black backed acrylic. Other Vcare file is for 3d carving, pocketing an profiling.
Good luck every body!

This is an indoor window located in a brick wall for my own house.
I have made it, but it's not painted yet. (will show in Gallery later)

Rusty:

Unfortunately, I cannot post the .crv file to this forum as it exceeds the maximum file size allowed by about 20M. Also, James B. from Vector 3D created the model of the Captain's Wheel for me which I did have to purchase. I do not believe the license agreement would allow me to post the Captain's Wheel (in a .crv) file on a forum for others to use. Maybe James could weigh in on this to add some clarification. Anyways, the model of the Captain's Wheel is available from Vector 3D for $25 I believe.

Ok here is my entry,

I plan to cut one of these when I finally get my boat back in the water.

I'm hoping for a bit of divine intervention, is that in the rules?

I have been away for some time, the only thing I have is this round flourish
that I modified for a ceiling rose. I machined a flat section to the centre to
take a light fitting.

Dougs right - Vector Art 3D license does not allow you to share the 3D models even in a crv file. As he also points out the model is available on the site as are the others used in this thread that were not part of the giveaway. Ships wheel can be bought from this link: http://www.vectorart3d.com/store/index.cfm?q=wheel Go to the Browse 3D Models page to find others. I have a lot more to add but have been out my office, keep checking the site for the next week or so to see a number of additional models being added. Anyone who has not submitted an entry you only have until the end of Oct 31st. Happy Halloween...

Thanks,
James

It came out pretty nicely... not yet sure how I should finish it...? I'd like to give it a little more contrast. Any suggestion?

Here's my entry. Great software guys. Nice going. This is just a do-dad for sitting on the shelf and looking pretty.

I guess I had better get something submitted before it's to late too. Something that I've been thinking of making, but haven't had the time to yet. Might want to tweak the shape a bit yet.
