shape within 3D image
After importing a photograph to carve in 3D, how can a shape be placed in the middle of the photograph witout the machine cutting any of the wood within that 2D shape?

You'll get more views replies if you ask the questions in the Aspire section of the forum.
You need to place a vector around the outside of your underlying 3D shape and then select that and the inner 2D vector when create the roughing/finishing toolpaths. Only the parts outside of that inner shape will be machined then.
