Post by doglaw »

Does anyone have any direct experience with this molding and could explain to me the difference between the 3 styles for this molding?

Thanks

The isometric view shows the difference a bit better. Basically the Style A would be used for carving an onlay to glue onto another part. Styles B abd C are for carving into a work piece.

Thanks Randall. I do appreciate the reply and your reply does make sense to me. I'm just having a difficult time visualizing a molding in styes B and C.

Randall - thanks for the nice explanatory images. Doug - The B and C styles are really designed for cutting into a larger board as a recessed area for decoration. Thanks,
James
