First time using Vector3D artwork

Post by Greasetattoo »

Hello all,

This is the first time I've used the VectorArt3D stuff.
I am trying to cut the FREE flower.

I want to do it on a piece of oak which is 5.5" x 9"
.75" thick.

I want the flower to be 4.25" tall, .65" thick.

Anyways, when I do the roughing pass, halfway through the model it cuts it flat. (see picture).
Any ideas why?

I can send the file, but it is about 9mb in size.

Well, I had my "Depth of model below Surface" set to 0.

I changed it to .1 and it seem to work now.

Hmmm.

Please drop me an email so I can send you a link to an FTP site where you can upload the file it would be interesting to take a look at the original as we can't seem to make it happen.
