Problems with lines on carving

Hello Guys
I have been using 3d machinist to get the hang of carving and also using a trail version of v carve the 3d machinist has been good to use and have done some nice work the bit I was using was ok but now I have to use a new bit (spiral bull nose ) I now get small lines on the carving and cant seem to get rid of them the smaller the bit I use the worst the lines are has anybody had this before ?

Do the lines appear in the preview?
If so then use a smaller stepover value (try 8%)
If not then the bit may have a small nub at the tip that is causing the problem.

Thanks for your reply no the lines are not appearing on the preview I will try a set up the step over at 8%
