Question about editing Post Processors in 3d Machinist.

Post by Scott M1 »

Is it possible to edit the post processor in 3d machinist? I had the trial version of v carve pro and know that the post processors can be edited in that program. But I cannot see anything in 3d machinist on how to do this.

The PP's for machinist are in the Program Files/Vector Art 3D Machinist/PostP folder

They look to be standard but older format PP files (like Cut3D) so a lot of the information in the VCarve PP help file wouldn't apply.

Thanks Adrian for the reply I will check this out. I have a PP that a friend gave ne that he uses on his Thermwood machine that is the same as ours. My son harvested a nice buck this weekend and I would like to try to carve the shoulder mount for him. That is when he gets it back in a few months. But in the mean time I would like to make sure that this 3d machinist program will work on our machine.
