Dumb question - how to rotate sample in VCarve?

Post by Patm »

I downloaded machinist and the fleur sample file, built the toolpaths etc and imported into Vcarve. Problem is that while I can move the model around I cannot rotate it. Whats the secret?

You can either to it in VA3D Machinist first if you know how you want it to go under the "Orientate Model" section. Save it and import it into VCP. Or in VCP, under the edit vectors section, there is a "Rotate Vector" and "Mirror Vector" icon that should do exactly what you want. In VCP the actual 3D image will not rotate but you will see the outline rotate. Hope that helps. -AD
