Bit Length

Post by Rcnewcomb »

The sad tale of learning (the hard way) that I needed a longer bit.

The scene: The rough and finish passes have gone nicely. A total of 3.5 hours of machine time has been used. The piece looks great. We are just adding some final V-Carving that is donw inside the 3D carving. The picture show where the collet crashed into the adjacent carving.
