I am new to the Shark Pro HD. I've gone through all the tutorials and have produced a couple projects.
However I'm trying to carve a number of simple lines but can't find how to do them. Could someone help me?

If you want to machine simple lines you're most likely going to want to use the Profile toolpath with the Machine Vectors part set to On.

Just to add to what Adrian said - do the profile ON - but also Profile "left" and also "right" so you can understand what is going on with those settings.
