Hi all,
I've carved a few pieces of maple on my little Sherline CNC mill at home, and kinda getting hooked on this stuff. I did one at work now on our CNC machining center. Just wondering if anybody else is using machining centers for this stuff. When carving wood, I find there isn't too much dust created, but I'd like to try corian too, and am finding this is a very dirty process! Does anybody else do this on a machine with a coolant tank that must be kept clean? Another issue is that I can only go up to 10000 rpm and am not sure if I should be using some special bits.
Thanks,
Lorne
