Looking for tool advise

Postby Uzumati » Sat Apr 28, 2018 9:18 pm

Got into my first project and realized I don’t have many bits since I just got a starter set with my CNC. My best result was with a 30* 0.25 vbit but I feel like I should be able to get better definition. What are some of your favorite bits to use with PVC before I run off to Amazon and fill my cart with useless bits?

Hi: For lithophanes I use a tapered .0625 ball nose on pictures that don't have too much intricate detail. For highly detailed pictures I have gone down as small as .020 ball nose. The smaller the bit, the more time it takes.
