Rotating Image

Post by Raceimage »

I have to carve a long board so I have to rotate the desired image 90 degrees. Could not find any means to accomplish that in the PhotoVCarve control panel. Is there a way to rotate the image or would switching the X-axis and Y-axis cables going to the control box get it done

I rotate the image in other editing software before importing into PhotoVcarve.

Not a good idea to start switching axis cables about, ok to try it when fault finding but not something I would suggest doing to cut a job. Pretty much any image viewer will allow you to rotate & save an image so as Charlie suggests rotate the image before importing it.

If you're using Windows and you right click on the image file in Windows Explorer you can select "Rotate Clockwise" or Rotate Counterclockwise" before dragging the image into PVC.
