Slow the Z speed keep X and Y fast with Photovcrarve

Post by michael307 »

My machine has servos and can run fast in X and Y but my Z faults when too fast. It seems to me that in Photovcarve the tool speed sets the speed for all axis. If I slow it down for Z my X and Y move like a snail. I have changed that servo setting on the machine and get some bad effects with the over all machine functions.

All the moves that PhotoVCarve puts out are three axis moves so the machine is always going to be constrained by the slowest axis.
