Invert light and dark areas
I'm sure this has been covered but I'm gonna ask anyway, when should the invert be checked off or must it be checked off for all photos thanks.

Re: Invert light and dark areas
Good question, I know that I always check it else the vcarve will come out looking like a negative, with the dark areas now the lightest because they were carved deeper.
So I will say tentatively, don't check it on those occasions where you might want an effect like that.

When doing lithophanes always check invert. When carving on wood leave uncheck. By inverting, the whites are carved deeper than black when doing lithos.
