Anyone have tips for PhotoVCarving a dark skinned individual

Post by kristenanne77 »

I would like to do a photoVcarve for a friend who is dark skinned.
Definitely more of the dark brown shade (not light brown).

I am looking for tips on wood to use , finishing materials, stain, .. overall process to achieve good results.

Thanks
K

I have done a lithophane for a dark skinned person and came out great. Lot of details. I used a .0625 ball nose bit carving .012 deep. Check out pic.
