hapeOko PostProcessor for Cut2d workin. Now need PhotoVcarve
I have successfully did the wingspar sample file and am going to get Cut2D.
I was also thinking about the PhotoVcarve but need to get the postprocessors working with this program as well.
The directions to put the post processors for Cut2D were given as:
<<To install...
1. In your Vectric program select the File...Open Application Data Folder.. menu.
2. Then paste the post processor files in the PostP folder.
>>
There is no provision for "Open Application Data Folder" in PhotoVcarve although there is a large list of post processors.
I tried just putting them in the post processor directory under PhotoVcarve (not the Application data Folder) and I received an error when opening up the program not recognizing these files. Program still worked but did not list these files.
Anyone know how I can get the post processors put in a correct directory to work with PhotoVCarve
Thanks
K

Re: ShapeOko PostProcessor for Cut2d workin.Need PhotoVcarve
The format of the Post Processor files used in Cut2D is newer than those in PhotoVcarve so you may have commands in there that PhotoVCarve does not recognise. It sounds like you've got the files in the right area, they should go into the PostP folder within the PhotoVCarve folder in Program Files.
The Post Processor you're using for Cut2D has Arc commands in it and PhotoVCarve doesn't recognise those so I've created a version of your Post Processor with those parts removed. If you copy this one into the PostP area of PhotoVCarve it should work for you.

I think the inch postprocessor is running correctly. It will be much better when i change spindle add bits.
Could you possibly post a file for Shapeoko post processor in mm."
