uploading photos

Post by jerrywi »

Good Morning Group;

I'm trying to attach photos to my post and having problems. I browse for file and press "Add File" I get an error message that says "the file you are trying to use is invalid" its a standard jpeg extension!! I also tried changing the ext to Gif. and that doesn't work.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for any input

Jerry

Perhaps the file is too large ... can you reduce the quality ? Often taking a screenshot of a ~4"image in a window captures enough detail to get the idea, but reduces the size to fit the forum. I use Greenshot.

Thanks Paul;
I never thought of the size. It should have kicked in when I used to receive e-mails from family with photos attached and it would take 3 years to down load because of the file size .
I'll try to resize the prints and try again.
Thanks again

Jerry
