New to cnc and PVC

Post by phil62 »

I have a brand new cnc machine, Probotix Comet, which uses EMC2. I can't find a post processor that will work in the list. I have followed tutorials that I have found and can't get it to work. I want to import a picture and machine it in wood.
Can anyone give a post processor that will work and how to add it to the list.
Any help would be appreciated for a newbie.

Here's a metric and imperial one. You'll need to put them in the PostP folder of the PhotoVCarve folder (usually in C:\program files). I would have thought that the standard g-code ones would have worked though as these are nearly identical.

I run probotix control board and steppers on one of my machines and use
G code (inch)(*.tap) as my post processor.
Give Probotix a call they can probably steer you in the right direction.
