Impossible to download

Post by zoner »

Hi there,

I seem to have a weird problem ... everytime I try to download something relate to photoVCarve, the including directory becomes read only and the security aspect of the file is impossible to change and I am being said that I'm not the owner ... on my own system ...

I'd like to try it but not with something that breaks my directories on download ...

Need help here !

Finally got it ... used IE instead of Firefox ... running on 64bits Windows 7

But even IE complained but got the files and then I could move them ... with Firefox I could not even move/delete them ... I was not the owner ... weird.

This is the first time I have this problem ... I'm a software developper by the way (25 years)

See if this article helps: http://itexpertvoice.com/home/fixing-th ... der-blues/

Fixing the Windows 7 Read-Only Folder Blues
Are some of your directories showing up as read-only? Join the crowd. It’s a common problem in Windows 7, but there are a few ways to address it. It seems that several things can cause this problem. Among the causes: patching the system, upgrading from one version of Windows to another, and saving files to the top-level directory (C:\). Microsoft knows this is an issue, but for some reason the company doesn’t call it a bug...
