Might be worth giving a try for a lithopane.

Thanx for the article. My parents' 50th wedding anniversary is coming up in june, and I plan on making them a 8x10 lith and this will work out great.

Jay, did you make a light box from the information on this website? If so where did you purchase the cool cathode lights from?
