This piece is 450mm x 310mm and again was carved using a 60 degree cutter and took around 20 minutes. Same preparation as with the picture of the puppies, and looks stunning!

The original image is a low resolution jpg downloaded off the internet!

The background noise was painted out using Corel Photo-Paint and saved as a BMP file
I then used the Make Transparent option to constrain the toolpath inside the face region of the picture, which helped reduce the cutting time and worked very well on the wood.
