Hello All,
I'm trying to use the dado gadget for cutting qualified tenons in cabinets. I'm having an issue when using it on rotated parts (nested) in some test cut. I know I probably won't be cutting like this for full blown cabinets but was wondering what I'm doing wrong? The dado tool paths on parts that aren't rotated work but the tool paths on rotated parts don't follow the actual dado. I've attached some pictures.

Re: Using the Dado Gadget on rotated parts
I never designed it to work with vectors that are at anything other than 90 degree increments.
Also you have to run the gadget after you've done the nesting rather than before unless you go the extra step of grouping/ungrouping and associating the vectors with layers so automatic toolpath creation can work.

That explains it. Thanks.
