Can I please have a gadget that stops me from making dumb mistakes like deleting a file when it shouldn't be?
Cheers

That would fit in with a feature request I made some time ago to have Aspire do what I want it to do rather than what I tell it to do. C'mon Vectric, make it happen! How hard could it be? :D

That gadget relies on creating a 3D model from a bitmap. Something that VCarve can't do.

For VCarve you can use Jason Dories HalfToner program - http://jasondorie.com/page_cnc.html

Export as a DXF file, import that into VCarve, select all the vectors and create a VCarve toolpath. I use it all the time and it works great.

I'd really like to see 'radius all corners' updated for use with Version 9 of Vcarve Pro.
A Gadget to round the edges of a board after the corners were radiused would be very useful for me. Not sure about others.

Reference "Box Creator Gadget"

It would be nice if the "Box Creator Gadget" could include options for a "Bottom" & "Sides" (Bottom Edge) to be created with No-Tabs or Dovetails. Maybe in the place of Tabs or Dovetails include a Rabbet on the sides and ends bottom edge. Essentially thereby creating a box with only Tabs or Dovetails in the "four corners" with or without a Tabbed/Dovetail Lid.

Something Similar to this.

I have created an .htm file for it but not really sure how to modify the LUA file to accommodate it.

through dovetails

Post by hans pijpers »

Hi, is there anybody who can make a through dovetail gadget, for end-grain milling?? I mean I have made with trial and error real dovetails in the front of my waste-board,I needed 12 drawers to match an existing cabinet with 12 missing drawers, For that it was worth the trial and error method. And I also tried blind dovetails, in one go, pin-board and tail-board. But life would be much easier with a gadget Kind regards Hans

That gadget is a through one. The boards have to be held vertically at the end of the machine as that is the only way to do a through dovetail without requiring specialist bits.

The "official" (Vectric gadget site) gadget has dogbones as that is cut flat on the table.
