Steampunk Impulse Engine

Postby rtibbs2018 » Sun Sep 01, 2019 7:51 pm

Attached are some photos of Clayton Boyer's Steampunk Impulse engine.
The .dxf files were purchased from Clayton Boyer's website

The following link will show you one in operation:https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uuCHvEaNFMU

I just finished assembling mine and have some "fine tuning" to get it fully operational. I think I have too much drag on some of the components which don't allow it to run continuously.

For those of you who like gears & things

That looks fantastic, Ron! I love the contrasting wood.

WE WANT VIDEO! WE WANT VIDEO! . . . .

That is very cool, beautifully done. Gotta love things with gears.

Sweet! Moving wood is fun to watch as long as it's not set in motion by a hurricane. 8)
