First Job with VCW

Post by Tony Mac »

The sign below is new customer Roy Burrill's first job programmed with VCW.

The substrate is 80" x 20" x 3/4 thick Sign Foam board and was cut on his ShopBot
router using a 90 degree 1" diameter V-Bit.

Nice job Roy!

Very nice sign Roy did here Tony but I am wondering why the "O" in the word OAKS is not continuous like it is in the word WESTON. Maybe it's the resolution of the picture file that I am looking at?

The signs do look fantastic. The O could be that that's the companies logo and how it is. Now that I've gotten into CNC stuff everywhere I got I notice things like that.

I'd like to try cutting some of that sign foam board. It looks like it would cut nice and hold a sharp edge. Anyone know where to get some at a good price?

Hi Marty - The 'O' in the sign design is drawn that way and I guess it has some meaning to te owners?

Hi Jay - Take a look at these supliers who both claim to ship samples,
