Latest Guitar Build

Post by Ken Tipton »

Hey All,

Just thought I would post my second guitar build. This one was a lot of fun and plays great. I will post more pics once I take them. With all the colors it is pretty hard to get a good shot of it.

Looks awesome.
Would love to know how you did the finish.
It reminds me of an album cover from the late 60s or early 70s but I can't place which one.
Congrats on a great job.

The top is cotton fabric. I had a guy that I follow on youtube do it for me. You can search Texas Toast Guitars on youtube and search his videos. He has a lot of videos explaining the process step by step. I am going to try and do the next one myself.

Very cool looking guitar. Haven't seen one like it until now.

I'll add this idea to one of my future weird guitar projects. Lots of choices are available. Camo, paisley, tie-dye, neon colors, with no end of other choices.

Ken,

Wow! The fabric idea is crazy! And if you own a direct-to-garment printer, the sky's the limit for what the design of the fabric can be... Definitely got me thinking about my next project! I'm thinking pineapple uke!!!
