Hi everyone,
I designed an address sign and like the way it came out, two things, any ideas on how you would finish something like this so it "pops"? also if you look at the eagle, there is a raised ring around it, how would I design this so that it is flush? In this case I think it actually helps as I am thinking the eagle will be painted/stained a different color so it stands out.
Let me know how you would finish something like this?
Thank you!

I'd use the glazing technique on the eagle.
For the letters and borders use a cheap foam brush with a contrasting gel stain or paint. That will work very well to just color the top flat portions.
