Hi Everyone,
This month I have been ‘In labs with Beki’ to create a very special project.
I have spent the last 18 months planning my wedding day, after finding the perfect venue we started to make plans to structure the day. We quickly realised that the venue had different areas to entertain our guests, which was great but presented a problem of where the beers would be situated.(VERY IMPORTANT)
The perfect solution to our problem seemed to be a wheelbarrow, something we could fill with ice, store the beers in and move around the venue…On to the next problem, all of the wheelbarrows I found were fit for a construction site not a wedding! This is where Beki came up with the perfect solution and helped me to create an amazing, wedding ready, personalised beer barrow.
The project we are giving away is a miniature version of the beer barrow, a slot together planter barrow, which is a project we created to test all the elements of the bigger beer barrow.
For the decorative panels we used the vector texture tool and the texture toolpath to create a faux wood grain effect.

I hope you enjoy this project!
Happy Making!
Steph & Beki

Nicely done as usual Stephanie! Just one thing: If those handles are MDF then I'd be leary of trying to pick up the cart by them when heavily loaded with drinks.

Very nice. I'm going attempt one of these, it should be fun since only have a Piranha fx with a 12x12 bed. I'll be getting some much need practice at tiling.

The MDF was surprisingly very sturdy as we joined two 1" thick pieces together using dowels and strong wood glue, that said I agree if I was going to make this project again I would use something stronger like an exterior plywood.
I'll think about some alternative materials for my next wedding

By the time Stephanie's 50th Anniversary comes round the question of what material to use for handles won't exist, by then it will be a Hover Barrow that instinctively knows when a Guest needs a refill & moves by itselfmtylerfl wrote:I think you meant "for our 50th Anniversary"!Stephanie Downing wrote:

Haha, hey by then maybe we just look at our CNC machines and it just makes what we are thinking!
