Turned this yesterday on lathe then engraved on rotary axis on my CNC. Filled the engravings with coffee grounds and CA glue, sanded smooth. Pepper is in English,French,Spanish,German and Italian.

Very nice! Where sourced and how $$ was the mechanics for the grinder?

I've had a request to create a Project of the Month salt/pepper mill, but the mechanisms I've found were a bit pricey (so a project of that type was put on a far back burner for the time-being).

I got mine from Pen State Industries and they go from 10.25 to 8.95 but have seen them on sale from other sites. I think Woodcraft also carry them.

I have turned many of them on my lathe. I have a friend who sells at the local Farmers Market (Minneapolis) each summer and sells dozens of them. They are very popular....still. He gets them from The Woodcraft Store. Buying in bulk he has gotten them for $10.00.
