Second try at doing an edgelit. Just made the base and fit to see if it works. Its for my Grandson who I've made 5 other clocks for. He really is the Worlds Timekeeper.

I used a Widget 120 degree diamond drag bit. Seemed to work good.

Nice job, lettering is crisp and the base looks nice.
Keep in mind you can use mirrored plexi if you'd rather not have the movement visible.
Painted white plexi also a nice variation, here you can see where the box is by its shadow, no way to avoid that since its backlit by necessity.

Yeah Doug. I thought if I etched it a little bigger than the movement it would hide it. Live and learn. Thanks for a good suggestion.
