Corian
I recently acquired some Corian pieces from a friend who had some cut off from installations he's done. After searching the internet for direction I found it very easy to work with. So here is my first project. The carving was done on my Iconic I2015 CNC machine using the same settings as I would use on hardwood. I used my scroll saw to saw the shape and painted the letters with acrylic paint using a wet cloth to wipe the surface of smears. I sanded the surface with 400 grit sandpaper to remove any paint smears that I missed. Finally sprayed with urethane to bring back original luster.

Re: Corian
Corian also engraves [and cuts... up to 1/4"] on a laser.

Re: Corian
OP, nice job on the sign!
I love working with Corian on the router, have a piece setting next to the laser I’ve had for about a month now. Been meaning to try it and wondered how it will cut engrave. Have to give it a try.
