I finished this. It looks good. I now have an improved tool path
design. It will cut cleaner and only a small increase in time. this
takes about 5 hours.

The tree for the achievement I made. You would need to use Aspire to create the tree or try to find a
model. I have another program that makes stl files. In Vcarve you can only import 1 stl file at a time.
If you can use any modeling program then make stl's and import. Sketchup or Zbrush if you know how.
If you have a particular name and shield let me know and I may be able to help you.

I have been thinking about how I did this one and how to explain what I mean by improved tool paths.
This does take time. I am not after speed but try get get it done a quickly as possible.
1st i make an outline of the shield object. Un-group the inner vectors from the outside profile vector.
I then cut a pocket to get rid of material around the outside of the profile so I can use smaller bits to
clean out inner areas. Picture 1 this I cut to .5 inch. then I do the 3D rough and finish. Then I use the
inner vectors and the outer vector and a 1/32 tapered ballnose bit to clean up everything I want to
get rid of. Last I use a band saw to clean out the rest. The band saw operation takes about 15 minutes
Then a Dremel and sanding discs and floppy discs. Right now it takes about 7 hours. I hope to cut this
down. I think I save time by using profile cut instead of pockets. My way of doing things will probably
only work for me as I am not very organized or think things out.
